Be a SEO Hero & Accurately Summarize your Pages' Content

December 18, 2016

To be a SEO Hero, make sure you name your page titles and page descriptions to represent exactly what the page is about. First, research keywords that people are searching, then, in addition to adding a unique, keyword-driven Page Title to your page, make sure that you also write a "Description" meta tag that accurately describes the page content. Avoid using the same description for multiple pages, and be very specific to what is on the page – remember, the page title and meta description are what show up in Google and other search engines – it's the first thing your users will see, so make sure it's written well and written to entice users to click through to your page. Don't stuff page titles or descriptions with keywords, you can incorporate a keyword phrase once, but keep your title and descriptions short and sweet and concise. People tend to skip over lengthy titles, so keep it brief!
